The ISO 27001:2005 is the only auditable international standard which defines the requirements for an Information Security Management System (ISMS). The standard is designed to ensure the selection of adequate and proportionate security controls, whilst independently verifying that organizational risks are properly identified, assessed and managed.
Pozitim was awarded the accreditation following an independent external audit conducted by Alberk QA Technic International Technical Control and Certification Ltd. under the accreditation of TURKAK (Turkish Accreditation Agency). The eight month process with the guidance of 5G Consulting involved a comprehensive and stringent review of all the company’s internal processes and management controls. In becoming fully certified, Pozitim has become one of a select group of companies in Turkey to achieve the accreditation across the whole organization and one of the first companies in its sector.
To maintain the certificate, Pozitim’s information security management system will be reviewed, monitored and audited on a regular basis. As part of the company’s continuous improvement program, further investment is planned to upgrade the company’s physical security.
